Summer Pics.

So I couldn't fit nearly enough of our pictures so we'll try this one more time...this is what I get for procrastinating!

A Sizzlin' San Antonio Summer

We had so much fun "discovering" San Antonio this summer. It's always an adventure being in a new place, (especially with my great ability to get lost). The kids enjoyed new friends, visits from family, swimming lessons, our new house, the playset their hero made (daddy)! They have been pretty spoiled. I thought that i would just post a few of our favorite summer pics.(well, since I lost our camera on our drive home from Maine it's only a portion of our favorite pictures...that's o.k. Maine is engraved in our hearts anyways.) Enjoy. We miss our family and friends.

Thankgoodness for grandpa

I have a bit of catch-up to do. I had to post these pictures of grandpa Vorkink with the kids. I had a surgery a month ago and pretty much last minute my dad volunteered to come and help us take care of the kids since I was ordered not lift them for two weeks! I thought that it would be impossible but thanks to grandpa's love, help and magic touch we made it! Thanks dad.

The mom & dad

With life being as busy as it is right now Jaron and I are just grateful when we have time all together as a family. Time to sit down, laugh and have fun!

Ayden, Ayden, Ayden!!!

When I try to describe Ayden to family and friends the first thing that come to my mind is that he "marches to the rhythm of his own drum", (figuratively and literally)! You will seldom find Ayden clean, he really does not take no for an answer and he sees no limits in his abilities (which is very evident by the bruises and cuts on his legs, arms and forehead). I wouldn't change thing about because he always has big slobbery kiss waiting for me, he loves to help me empty the dishwasher and most of all he LOVES his family. Ayden is definitly a wonderful part of our little Coombs family puzzle!

Chase's First Day of Preschool (actually it was his second day)

Chase's preschool has been wonderful. It's just my speed. Six other mom's and I got together and we decided to take turns teaching the kids at our homes! I thought Chase might be a little nervous because he hadn't ever done much without Miaja at his side but he just LOVES his preschool. He loves taking his own lunch and he loves getting run around and be silly with his friends. These pictures are actually from his second day of school! His little Livi was celebrating her birthday so we had cu!pcakes!

Miaja's First Day in kindergarten!!!

So I'm trying to catch-up. Miaja's first day of school was wonderful and heart-breaking. Miaja, being the organized girl that she is, had her outfit on and backpack ready when I came upstairs to wake her. She looked so big. She reassured me that she would alright! The cutest part was after we dropped her off at Mrs. Sanchez's room and shut the door Chase looked up me with a huge tear running down his cheek and he said, "Mommy, I miss Miaja." I just gave Chase a huge hug...then took he and Ayden to the zoo. Jaron and I are pretty blessed with amazing kids!
