Fun in the HOT, HOT sun!!!

So of course I forgot my camera but I had post about our morning swimming! We had such a great time but honestly...had I tried to do anything else other than make sure one of my four kids six and under didn't drown...we might have come home with one less child!!! I couldn't have done it without great friends who took my kids and helped them have fun! I had Thomas in the sling around my shoulders, a few different friends helped with Ayden and Miaja, our little fish, swam on her own. Chase is getting a bit more adventurous but fortunately his good friend, Chase, likes to "swim" on the stairs too so we had a great time.
I just had such a fun time and even better, I could see what a blast my kids had and I love that, I'm so crazy tired I can't hold my eyes open look they get when they've had a really good time! Thanks again for all of the help!

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Happy Fathers Day!!! I wanted to tell the many wonderful fathers in my life "happy fathers day", starting with the father of my kids. The kids had a blast with daddy today. That song, "I'm so glad when daddy comes home" really is inspired! We love when daddy isn't on call and we get to enjoy him! The kids especially loved sharing daddy's candy card with him and doing the "customized" daddy puzzle! the truth is...life just isn't complete without dad! As for MY "daddy' (as the kids referred to him when I gave him a call this morning), I feel 110% blessed. I got the greatest in my book...and I mean that! I love that I can always count on my dad for love, advice, support and a good story. He has been a HUGE example to me my whole and life and continues to be, setting a great example for our kids. I am also grateful for my father-in-law, Bruce. I appreciate his sincerity, concern for our little family and the many attribute that I see he passed on to my husband, like hard-work and serving others. Happy Fathers Day to all my brothers too...I admire you each so much. -Christy

Seaworld

Another fun summer with lots of lazy days at Seaworld!!! We went as a family to Seaworld a week ago and had so much fun that we had to return for family home evening this past week with some friends, The Hoopes! It was a BLAST! They have two older girls (11yrs. and 9yrs, old) and a 4 yr. old. The two older girls went on a crazy ride with us and I think they said atleast twenty times, "I'M GONNA BARF!!" It was hilarious!!!

My Garden

So I had to put in a few pictures of my garden. It has been one of my favorite night time hobbies. I don't what is about dirt but I love it! I especially like when dirt mixed with a few seeds, water and TLC makes GREAT food! It's been fun teachig the kids about how our food gets to our plates! They especially liked the carrots! Can't wait for the fall season!

Here Comes First Grade!!!

Miaja had such a great year in kinder. I don't know why I even hesistated...well, actually I do...it was hard to imagine her not home every day but it was all worth it as I saw her little girl "bloom" (for lack of a better word). She made such wonder friends, had an incredible teacher, (she ADORES Mrs. Sanchez), and she learned so many great things. I am so proud of her and all of her hard work this year. Now she's all ours for a few months and I am going to enjoy each and every day!!!!
