The Big 30!!!

My family made sure that I had a great birthday! Jaron actually had the whole day off! We actually had a blast cleaning together and then Jaron gave me some very precious "alone" time while he ran secret birthday errands with the kids! Bonny, Jaron's mom, flew in early in the afternoon and Jaron and the kids made dinner, decorated and simply made the day perfect! Thanks Jaron, Miaja, Chase, Ayden and Bonny. Also thank you to my wonderful family and friends who made "my day" so great!

primary program

I was so proud of the kids this past Sunday. It was our ward primary program. They had practiced and practiced their parts and were so excited. Chase told me he wanted to be just like a missionary for the program so we did our best (he even wore a "future missionary" tag)! I have to say, when Miaja stood before the entire congregation, looked them straight on and recited her scripture, word-for-word, it made this mommy teary. They amaze me.

Preschool Pumpkin Patch Event

Chase, Ayden and I went with our preschool friends to a local pumpkin patch and to enjoy the morning playing in the pumpkins, listening to stories and just having fun. Chase loves preschool. It was been so fun for he and I (and Ayden too)!

Seaworld!!!

Last weekend we all got to go to Seaworld together and it was a blast! It was a fun twist having the added halloween element. We even got to see pirates and mermaids! Of course, the best psrt was just having daddy there with us. It was such a great morning!

If you weren't aware there is actually a "National Night Out" that encourages neighborhoods to get out and have fun together. Well, our new neighborhood celebrated "National Night Out" last night and it was so great. We had food, games and lots of fun!!! Miaja & Chase were espcially excited for the hot dogs (since we never eat them). I was proud of them though...when it came down to it they didn't want to eat them, (no offense to the hot dog lover).
It was so great to meet neighbor's we've never met and just have fun together. We actually had a really good turn-out! The kids helped me make, decorate and eat cupcakes for a cupcake walk! Jaron volunteered his BBQ talents for those awesome hot dogs! Our friends the Greens put a ton of work into the party...it was great you guys. Thanks!

Happy Birthday Mom!!! Although I'm pretty sure it will probably take several weeks of encouragement to get you brave the internet I wanted you to know that we were thinking of you on your birthday. You are always missed in our home and not one day goes by (literally) without one of us mentioning something about grandma. You know that you are one of the greatest influences in my life and one of my best friends. Thanks for being a woman I strive to live up too. You are more than words can say...you are wonderful! (Hope you don't mind me adding the pics!!!)

The Greatest Guy In My Life

Jaron and I got a very rare opportunity to spend time together...without our kids. We went to a hospital social but it was so fun to realize just how much I love spending time with him. He is a great husband and a wonderful father. I don't know how he does it. I have tried and tried to get a picture of the two of us that is more recent but the challenge continues. (I did get a picture of Jaron sleeping but I don't know how he'd feel about that one). I love you Jer.
