Miaja's Photo Session with Mommy!!

So I showed Miaja the entry on our blog and rad to her what she said to me about my tummy and she wanted to SHOW everyone my tummy so to keep entertained while daddy was on call for the fourth day in a row I let the kids take pictures of me in all my glory! It was actually a blast and some of my favorite picts over the years are the ones of the kids kissing my pregnant belly or just plain old pictures of my pregnant belly. For some reason it brings back good memories (thank goodness)! Thanks Miaja for the pictures!

So I decided that I needed to post a cute "quote" if you will for Ayden. Although he is still a man of few words, his actions definitely speak loud and clear! Chase, Ayden and I made cupcakes to celebrate the letter "b" birthday!!! the other morning. After they had baked and were cooling I went into our bedroom to put some laudry away. In the distance I could here the all too familiar sound of the stool creeping across the floor. I hurried to finish putting away the laundry then I turned to face the "consequences" of leaving ayden alone in the kitchen. He met me in the hallway...HUGE grin and crumbs all over his face! I walked into the kitchen and found he had eaten the tops off of ALL the cupcakes (yes, he is Jarons son). I'm telling ya...I can never turn my back.

At least She's Honest!!!

Now Miaja on the other hand...she likes to get down to the real truth! I picked her up from school this last week, so excited to see her and give to a huge hug and she looked at me and said,
"Mommy, your tummy better not get too much bigger or your won't have any clothes to wear".
I guess it's good I've got a girl in the house to keep me straight. I know that she meant it in love!!! She actually is a real sweetheart and is always trying to reach-out to kids around her who don't have friends to play with. I'm thankful for my HONEST and tender little angel!

My Little Charmer

So I just had the cutest (in a very mommy kind of way) thing said to me. Chase had to use the bathroom while I was in the shower (of coure he had to use my bathroom NOT the two others in our house), but while he was going potty he looked up at me and said, "mommy, I love you so much that I wish the potty was in the shower so I could hold your hand"! (Hopefully that's not too much information). What he said combined with how sincere he really was melted my heart. I thought about that as I put the kids down for quiet time and thought to myself...hopefully he finds other ways of expressing his love by the time he gets married. Anyways...I was touched. I love my Chass-man!

Children's Museum!!!

So a new favorite(since Seaworld has been closed) is the Children's Museum. They have this amazing Children's Museum downtown and we just discovered it via some friends. Since Jer and Miaja had Monday off we all headed there together. They have such an amazing set-up. There is an entire floor that is sponsored by HEB (the local grocery store) and its a huge kids grocery store. They can fill their baskets, check each other out, weigh things etc. There's also a big bubble blower that the kids can get into and surround themselves in the bubble!!! It's pretty cool. They can drive tractors, pretend to be and work at the dentists office, play in HUGE tree house that is about a floor in size...it's incredible! We had a blast!

The kids were really excited to get to take daddy to the zoo for the first time. Chase, Ayden and I go every other week but Miaja often misses out due to ALL DAY KINDERGARTEN (I'm still a little upset about that). We had a blast! This is the time of year to go here. It was sunny and cool but hardly anyone was there. We even got to see a "Tiger Football Game"! Jaron loved that! The kids favorite is still the rhino. I think we all love it! They really are cute to look at.

Day at the Spa!!!

Well...it was more like a few hours at the spa but it was still fantastic! Lorrie, mom and I went an academy and we bought mom a pedicure and a special facial (I can't remember what type it was). It was great! Mom went "kicking and screaming" (of course) but once we got there she had a wonderful time! The last time I'd been to a "spa" was with both sisters and my mom in Seattle and that was such a great time as well. It's hard not to have fun with such wonderful company!
