If you weren't aware there is actually a "National Night Out" that encourages neighborhoods to get out and have fun together. Well, our new neighborhood celebrated "National Night Out" last night and it was so great. We had food, games and lots of fun!!! Miaja & Chase were espcially excited for the hot dogs (since we never eat them). I was proud of them though...when it came down to it they didn't want to eat them, (no offense to the hot dog lover).
It was so great to meet neighbor's we've never met and just have fun together. We actually had a really good turn-out! The kids helped me make, decorate and eat cupcakes for a cupcake walk! Jaron volunteered his BBQ talents for those awesome hot dogs! Our friends the Greens put a ton of work into the party...it was great you guys. Thanks!

What a fun idea. We don't even know our neighbors and it has been two years. oops. If they had little kids we probably would have..but none of them do. Maybe we will be better in our new home:). Know I feel bad. Looks like you had fun. Let me guess...it was your idea, Christy. It sounds like a Christy party! Minus the hotdogs of course.
that sounds like a lot of fun. hot dogs rule!!(we had some last night-since Brandon was gone);o)
miss you guys, looks fun!
Looks like a good time, what a great way to get to know your neighbors! Chase looks so big, like a big boy now, not little Chasey. Wish we could hang too.
I love that smile on Miaja's face!
Where in Texas are you??? We're in Lubbock, but we regularly go to Waco, East Texas, and drive through Dallas.
